My First Bible Class

One of the promises parents make when their child is baptized is to “faithfully bring them to the services of God’s house, teach them the Lord’s Prayer, the Creed, Ten Commandments and place in their hands the Holy Scriptures.” To help parents fulfill that promise we are offer ‘My First Bible’ class in the fall. The 2017 class will be held on Saturday, November 4th.

‘My First Bible’ is one of our Faith Stepping Stones. It is geared towards all 3rd graders and is a wonderful opportunity for your child and at least one parent to explore the truths of the Bible. During class we will be learning about the 66 books of the Bible and explore some important Bible passages. This special day promises to be a memorable occasion for both you and Aiden. Here is what one FaithPoint parent shared about her experience with her child at this class:

“My daughter and I loved the 3rd grade Bible class. Pastor Steve and Gretchen did a wonderful job of giving a great overview of the Bible with passion and sincerity. The kids were open to ask questions and were given helpful handouts to take home. We still have the picture of the bookshelf with the books of the Bible hanging in our school room! It’s a great visual to have at hand during our Bible study time. I personally enjoyed the ideas, encouragement, and time to write a dedication in Jordan’s Bible. What a special gift to our children!” Jan Clay
