FaithPoint is supporting this new church launch financially and in prayer. A portion of our mission budget has been earmarked toward supporting ReaLife Church. Pastor Eric Hulstrad and his wife Pam joined the LCMC (Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ) six years ago. This church start is not a group of people leaving a church to begin something new with the LCMC. Rather, ReaLife began one year ago as a result of a vision to plant a LCMC church in an area of the Twin Cities where there was previously no LCMC presence for many miles.
ReaLife Church is currently meeting at Olson Middle School in Bloomington. Typically they worship in auditorium about the same size that we do. In the summertime, they meet in the courtyard area for outdoor worship whenever they can. Last April and again this past Sunday, some of our Mission Team went up to visit and encourage this new LCMC church plant. The Mission Team has seen firsthand that this church really reflects its name well in its preaching and worship. Please be in prayer for their upcoming VBS in August, that it will be a wonderful outreach to the community.
