Summer Stretch is a Gospel-centered summer program for incoming 6th, 7th & 8th grade students that combines service work and fun activities.
Summer Stretch will take place on the four Wednesdays in June 2024. We will be doing a mix of service projects, fun activities, and brief bible studies during our time together. It gives middle school students a chance to show the love of Christ to our community and also get to know one another better!
DETAILS:
- Dates: WEDNESDAYS: JUNE 5, 12, 19, and 26
- Pick up and drop off: FaithPoint Lutheran Church, 1051 270th Street West, New Prague
- Times: Each day we begin at 8:30am at FaithPoint and end around 4:00-4:30pm. Families will receive a weekly email with a more detailed look at what we’re doing for that upcoming week.
- Individual in Charge: Megan Monson, FaithPoint Youth Director
- Mode of Transportation: Car (driven by adult volunteer drivers), Bus and/or church van
- Cost: $150 for all four days. There is also the option to register for 3 days for $125. The cost covers transportation, a meal each of the days of Summer Stretch, a t-shirt, and the activities we are doing.
- Parents are required to sign up to be chaperones and drivers for at least one of the days of Summer Stretch. We appreciate so deeply your help in putting this on for our students. If you are able, you are welcome to help us by chaperoning for multiple days! A sign-up form will be sent to you once registration is received.
- **Registration is due by May 19** Please RSVP online ASAP (below) and bring in forms and payments to FaithPoint by Sunday, May 19. Your promptness is appreciated, as we need to have as accurate numbers as possible to book our activities.

June 12th: Highway and Park clean up/Cedar Lake Day
June 19th: Ney Nature Center/Kerfoot Canopy Tour
June 26th: FMSC – 9:30-11:15am shift/Skyzone in Edina

YOUR CHILD’S SPOT IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL WE RECEIVE FORMS & PAYMENT!
PARENTS:
We ask that parents help by chaperoning at least one day or providing food on June 5 or 12. Chaperone sign-up is on the registration form. Please click here to sign up to provide food if you choose to do that instead.
