About FaithPoint

FaithPoint Lutheran Church is a body of believers serving New Prague, Minnesota, and surrounding areas with love and kindness in Jesus’ name. We desire to passionately support all people as they develop and deepen their personal relationship with Jesus. We are a church that cares a great deal about welcoming new people. FaithPoint’s weekly worship is Real, Relevant and Reverent. Our relaxed, “come as you are” style is contagious and filled with joy.

FaithPoint is a member of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ which is an association of congregations and individuals who are:

• Free in Christ
• Accountable to one another
• Rooted and grounded in the Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions
• Working together to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations

FaithPoint History

Our FaithPoint name was chosen because this church was founded by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and on the authority of His word.  The point where we put our faith into action is where our church comes to life. Through God’s grace we live our mission – Love Each Other, Learn His Word and Shine His Light.

FaithPoint Lutheran Church held its first service on October 9, 2011. Our original Ministry Center was donated to us on November 21, 2011 by State Bank of New Prague. We were stunned by the generosity and magnitude of this gift. But as our church continued to grow, we raised capital to build a new church, enabling us to better minister to our congregation as well as the entire community. Our beautiful new church building is located at 1051 270th Street West, New Prague and opened in July 2021. We hold worship services on Sunday mornings at 8:30 & 10am. (9:30am in the summer: Memorial Day – Labor Day weekends)

We believe God has laid before us a great vision to reach people throughout the New Prague area. Our outreach to families, young and old, will expand and benefit from this beautiful new campus.
