JAM — “JESUS AND ME” (3rd-5th grade)

“Jesus and Me” meets Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00pm, Sept. through April. This is a fun midweek program designed just for 3rd–5th graders! Each evening includes hands-on learning, games, and small group Bible study to help kids grow in their faith and understand how to use their Bibles.

JAM returns this fall. We look forward to coming back together soon to grow in faith and friendship! Sept. 23 is the first night, meeting weekly from 5:30–7pm. Required parent & child meeting at 5:30pm the first night. Register online (below) or pick up a form at the Children’s Desk. 

A night at JAM includes a large group opening time with object lessons and the evening ends with the students in small group Bible Study. Our hope is that students will learn how to use their Bibles and apply its truth to their lives. Each child brings their Bible each week. Children may bring any Bible, but most bring the Bible they are given in the Faith Stepping Stone Bible Class. These Study Bibles are in the NiRV version (specifically written at a 3rd-grade reading level) and are available for purchase for $20. Our programming is a three-year rotation – helping them grow in their faith as they study the Promises of God, Becoming like Jesus, and the Fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Photographic Consent

I consent to my child(ren) attending FaithPoint Lutheran Church for any function being photographed. I agree that FaithPoint Lutheran Church shall have the right, but not the obligation to use my child’s photograph, or likeness (including caricature) for their website at any time and for any other purpose or publications the ministry deems helpful.

Parent Commitment

Each family is expected to partner with us and volunteer at least ONE ROTATION. Each rotation will be about six nights. We cannot run JAM without parent volunteers. Please select your top three choices. You will be contacted where you are placed as soon as possible.

Payment Information

After submitting registration information, you will be directed to our payment page to submit the $25 JAM fee. (If you have kids in other programs, you can combine all fees into one payment.) Bibles can be purchased in person at JAM for $20, if needed.

We are a church that cares a great deal about welcoming new people and expect guests every week. FaithPoint’s weekly worship is Real, Relevant and Reverent. Our relaxed, “come as you are” style is contagious and filled with joy. We gather for Worship on Sunday mornings at 9am in the summer (Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend) at 1051 270th Street West, just outside of New Prague, MN.
