Mission Statement
Our Mission is to:
Love Each Other with the heart of Christ,
Learn His Word to share the good news, and
Shine His Light so that all may know Him.
Core Values
These are the Core Values of FaithPoint Lutheran Church. We desire that these values define and drive our ministry in a welcoming and encouraging environment:
1. Love (Each Other) — How we treat people
– Grace First: God loves us in Christ and we are saved by His grace alone. Because we have first received his love, we are now free to lead with grace, patience, and forgiveness—especially toward those who are new, hurting, or uncertain. We strive to create a welcoming community with authentic worship where people can encounter Christ and His grace. (Ephesians 2:8-10; 1 John 4:19; Mark 12:28-31; Hebrews 13:2; & John 4:21-24)
– Safe and Trustworthy: We create environments where children, youth, and adults are protected, respected, and treated with dignity because every person is made in God’s image. (Matthew 18:5–6; Genesis 1:27)
2. Learn (His Word) – How we are we formed
– Word-Centered and Christ-Focused: God’s Word shapes what we teach, how we preach, and how we make decisions, always keeping Christ at the center of all we do. Through His Word, seekers find Christ, believers grow in Him, and families are spiritually nurtured. (2 Timothy 3:16; Colossians 1:28; Deuteronomy 6:6-9)
– Prayerful Dependence: We rely on prayer to seek God’s guidance, trusting the Holy Spirit to lead us in the conception, planning, and execution of our ministries, and in every decision we make. (Matthew 7:7–11, Philippians 4:6)
3. Shine (His Light) – How we live outwardly
– Everyone Serves: Because of God’s grace and the power of the Holy Spirit, every believer is called to serve. We invite and equip people to discover and use their God-given gifts and abilities for the building up of Christ’s Church and the Kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 12:4–7; Mark 10:45; James 2:26; and 2 Corinthians 9:11)
– Outward-Focused: We look beyond ourselves, measuring faithfulness not only by what happens inside the church, but by our witness and care for those not yet connected to Christ or His Church. We intentionally invite others to know and follow Jesus, sharing His light with our community and beyond. (Matthew 5:14-16; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19-20)
Vision Statement
We are a church on fire for Jesus Christ seeking to be a beacon of God’s truth,
shining His light to positively impact our world by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Come Grow With Us.
We are a church that cares a great deal about welcoming new people and expect guests every week. FaithPoint’s weekly worship is Real, Relevant and Reverent. Our relaxed, “come as you are” style is contagious and filled with joy. We gather for Worship on Sunday mornings at 8:30 & 10am at 1051 270th Street West, just outside of New Prague, MN.
