I look forward to gathering with others from FaithPoint to pray each Monday morning. I especially love hearing the praises of thanksgiving for answered prayers. Our prayer time is especially dynamic as we connect with one another each week before we pray discussing Sunday’s sermon. Also, we have built meaningful relationships with one another as we connected during worship services and through other activities at FaithPoint. This team and those who receive the prayer requests via email, feel a special connection with those who submit prayer requests. They are people we know and those with whom we regularly worship.
As we continue our Bringing Faith to Life series, this week we will see how FaithPoint’s fourth core value, Prayerful Dependence, is an essential part of our faith journey as followers of Jesus. At FaithPoint we rely on prayer to seek God’s guidance, trusting the Holy Spirit to lead us in the conception, planning and execution of our ministries. This Sunday we will see why we should pray, the role of the Holy Spirit in our prayers, and some practical ways to grow in the area of prayer .
Our worship services are at 8:30 & 10am with live streaming available at 10am. We hope to see you at a worship service this Sunday!
