Have you ever been to a parade where you couldn’t see past all the tall people in front of you? Perhaps you are vertically challenged, or you were a small kid, so you couldn’t see the marching bands, the horses, the big tractors or the fire trucks flashing their lights. Maybe you had a father or grandfather who hoisted you up on his shoulders … and then … you were able to see everything.
Jesus was in some grand parades in his day, and at least one man was too short to see all the action when Jesus came by. His name was Zacchaeus, and he went to extremes so that he could see all the action. What happens in his life as a result, is transformational.
