Why do two people hear the very same message about Jesus… and respond so differently? One hears the Gospel with joy. Another walks away unchanged. One person’s faith grows stronger over time, while another’s slowly withers under the pressures of life.

If the message is the same, what makes the difference?

This Sunday we begin a new three-week summer series called Kingdom Stories, exploring some of Jesus’ most well-known parables from Matthew 13. These stories are simple to understand, yet profound enough to shape a lifetime of faith. Through them, Jesus reveals what the Kingdom of Heaven is like—not merely to give us information, but to invite us into the life God desires for us.

Our first message, “Preparing the Soil,” centers on the Parable of the Sower.

Jesus compares God’s Word to seed that is scattered generously across every kind of soil. The remarkable thing is that the sower never changes the seed. The seed is always good. It is always full of life. The question is not whether God’s Word is powerful enough—it is. The question is how our hearts receive it.

As we hear this familiar parable, we’ll discover that God continues to do more than simply scatter His Word. Through His Word and Spirit, He softens hard hearts, strengthens weak faith, and produces a harvest that only He can bring about.

Join us as we begin this journey into the Kingdom stories of Jesus and discover how God is preparing our hearts to receive His greatest gifts. Summer Services are at 9am each week! Live Streaming available.
