Who is outside the reach of God’s grace?
It’s a question we may not ask out loud, but we sometimes answer through the boundaries we create. We can decide who deserves compassion, who is worth our time, who belongs, or even who is too far gone to be reached.
But what happens when Jesus crosses those boundaries?
This Sunday we conclude our three-week series, The Kingdom in Action, with “Grace Crosses the Line.”
A Canaanite woman approaches Jesus desperate for mercy. She is an outsider—someone who would have been considered far beyond the boundaries of God’s mercy.
The conversation that follows is one of the most surprising and uncomfortable encounters in the Gospels. Though it seems Jesus is pushing this woman away, He is drawing her faith into the open and revealing something much bigger: God’s mercy is wider than the boundaries we create.
The answer to the question “Who is outside the reach of God’s grace?” is simple:
No one.
The Kingdom Jesus brings is not limited by nationality, status, history, race, or past sin. There is no one beyond the reach of Jesus’ mercy—and there is no one we should stop reaching for with the Gospel. Summer Services are at 9am each week! Live Streaming available.
