Confirmation

Confirmation provides instruction in the Christian faith for 6 – 8th graders. We have a blast learning about Jesus, His Word, and how to apply it to our lives. We meet Wednesdays from 7-8:30 for a lesson, time in smaller groups led by a mentor to talk about what we’ve learned, and of course, time for fun and games!

Lent is approaching quickly, if your child is behind on sermon notes this is a great way to catch up. There will not be regular confirmation sessions during Lent but we encourage your child to attend the Lent Service each week. We ask that they arrive around 6:45 so that they can get a sermon note sheet and writing utensil prior to the service starting. Your child is welcome to sit with you if you are attending the Lent Service but if you are not attending, they will sit with their mentor group. Below is the schedule during Lent. FEBRUARY

18          Ash Wednesday: 7:00 pm (Attend Services with your family- no Confirmation)            

25          Lent Service – meet at 6:45 before service

MARCH

4            Lent Service – meet at 6:45 before service

11          Lent Service – meet at 6:45 before service

18          Lent Service – meet at 6:45 before service

25          Lent Service – meet at 6:45 before service

APRIL

1            No Confirmation – Holy Week – attend services during week
