2026 FaithPoint Sunday School
Mission Project
FaithPoint Sunday School’s Mission Project is collecting shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child this year!
Each November thousands of people prepare and collect shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, personal items, and other small gifts. A booklet of bible stories is distributed alongside each shoebox gift. We hope you will join our kids in supporting this effort!
Here are some ways YOU can be a part of Operation Christmas Child:
- Pick up a shoebox at FaithPoint starting Oct. 11. Fill it and bring it to FaithPoint by noon on November 11.
- Buy a Shoe Box Online (BASBO) & ship it around the world.
- Donate funds to help cover the cost of shipping the shoe boxes. Sometimes people pack a box but are not able to cover the $10 processing/shipping fee per box.
- Join us in praying for those who will pack & those who will receive the boxes.

We are excited to announce that
FaithPoint is an official dropoff site for Operation Christmas Child National Collection Week:
Nov. 16-23, 2026!
Throughout the week, community members are invited to bring gift-filled shoeboxes to FaithPoint Lutheran Church, located at 1051 270th Street West, New Prague. These boxes, packed with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, will be collected and sent to children affected by war, poverty, natural disasters, and other crises, bringing them the spirit of Christmas and a message of love through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
